Welcome!   2010 brought many changes and challenges.  I was hired by Portneuf Medical Center to ghostwrite articles, I was awarded a position as Editorial Analyst for SheWrites.com, New York City, and I received another national award for one of my feature articles. Of course, I continue to pen a weekly feature article plus a column for the Family Living Magazine all while pursuing other writing opportunities.

Life behind the keyboard is filled with deadlines, research and smiles.

I know there are many reasons to visit an author’s website and I sincerely hope you find what you are looking for on this site.  Of course, it goes without saying – websites, like unpublished manuscripts are a work in progress so if you are looking for something that is not here, please feel free to drop me a note.

Although I do not consider myself a blogger, I do, from time to time, consider opening up a blog page so I can occasionally share bits and pieces of my life with my friends, and if you are a frequent visitor, I am fairly certain we would be friends outside of cyberspace. It may ultimately be a place to find an occasional recipe, musing on life and writing, an occasional tail wagging story about my Springer spaniel, or a story or two about my daughters, my hubby, or my girlfriends. Stay tuned.

Life truly is best when it is gently stirred, when the mind is not stagnant.  As I travel the winding path of life and motherhood, the seasons ebb and flow. There are days when the mountain is cold, solid and lonely, other times it is muddy and filled with potholes, and then comes those glorious days of sunlight with a gentle stir in the air and the path skips beneath my feet.

I walk the path daily. Some nights I am so tired my feet burn and I rest. Other nights, my head swirls in thunderous thought clouds and I toss, turn and not so patiently wait for the lightening to subside. When I began my journey, I was unaware that the path was filled with frustration, enlightenment, learning and love. No one mentioned that the eyes of a child were open to the wonders of the world and that they possessed the ability to open my eyes to everyday moments which might have passed by like dust in the wind. On this path, I am thankful to those who have shared their stories, given the gift of learning and gently stirred my thoughts. So herein lies the path before me and my writing self is now a part of stirring the path for others.

Enjoy your journey and may your path be stirred not shaken!
